I took delivery of Bane (1993 Volvo 245) from Auslander Volvo several weeks ago, and it was a seamless transaction. The car was purchased sight unseen, which was a first for me. The pictures of the vehicle looked amazing, but it was Matt of Auslander who sealed the deal. I was prepared to back out at any sign of problems, but Matt provided a lot of detailed pictures, and answered all of my questions. Moreover, he has continued to follow-up since the sale, just to make sure I am pleased with the vehicle, and not having any issues. I have no buyer’s remorse, other than not purchasing from him sooner!

As for Bane, she is absolutely beautiful. I have yet to find a dent or ding. The paint shines, which is a rare sight on an East Coast 245. Most importantly, the car drives beautifully. It merits mention that my daily driver is a 1989 245, that does not have a cool name, but has plenty of personality in the form of knocks, squeaks, etc. However, driving an excellent example of a 245 really allows me to understand what the designers and engineers at Volvo were trying to accomplish. The only downside to Bane is that she is too nice to throw my daughters soccer gear in, or load up with mulch. She gets driven on the weekends to places with large parking spaces.
